End Violence Against Women and Girls Action Plan

18 March 2011

In March 2011 the government launched the Call to End Violence Against Women and Girls Action Plan.

The Action Plan brings together a range of cross cross-government commitments to tackling violence against women and girls. There are important references in this document to preventing violence from a young age including teaching sexual consent with the curriculum, reducing sexual and sexist bullying in schools and reducing the access of children to harmful material on the internet.
